/ Doctoral Program of Cinema and Audiovisual Media
Elomedia is a Finnish national Doctoral Program financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Academy of Finland.
The current program is called Elomedia 4 and it will run during the period of 2010-2013. There are currently 18 researchers in Elomedia. The Program is coordinated by the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
Elomedias curriculum concists of 3-5 seminars per year.
The doctoral studies give the students tools to combine theoretical, practical and artistic thinking through their own research questions.
